Butter London Two Fingered Salute

Honestly, I just cannot comprehend how a "two fingered salute" can relate to a dusty green nail polish with copper/pink shimmer.  But, it's a real fun name for such a unique polish.  Not only was it unique, it's also hard to get.  Two Fingered Salute was an US exclusive shade so I could not order it from their website.   EDIT: I just checked and confirmed this shade is not an US exclusive!! The only way I can get hold of it was through evil-bay and because it was so popular, I have to go into a bidding war (sigh).  So here it is, I brought you Two Fingered Salute ^^.

Two Fingered Salute has a slightly more sheer formula and I applied 3 coats above.  It was really unique for a mass market polish.  I'm loving it!

  4. Beautiful!! I don't think it is a US exclusive though because I bought it last week at Holt Renfrew in Toronto and it was in the main display along with all the others. It's so unique, I couldn't resist!

  12. I'm actually wearing this now and am completely in love! The formula, while sheer, was the best BL formula I've ever dealt with and it was a pleasure applying the three coats necessary for opacity. I'm a bit disappointed the copper shimmer isn't as obvious in standard light, but it really saturates the mint to make a smoky, grey sage shade that I absolutely adore.

This looks stunning on you! Fantastic photos!

  23. This is such a beauty and so unique! It was already hovering at the top of my "Gotta get this!" list, and then I saw your macro shots...holy DANG! I knew it was a stunner, just from the turquoise and copper I'd seen before, but I had no idea there was also a fine, turquoise shimmer, as well as pink in there too! This just became a Must Have. ^_^
