Pixi Luminous Lilac is a pink-toned pastel lilac with a subtle shimmer. I first spotted this shade when I bought Coral Cabana but since I haven't tried this brand before I just leave it. A few weeks later I visited their store at Fouberts Place again and grabbed this as well. I was simply attracted by the shimmer in the bottle!
I think this polish was on the sheer side and it dragged on application. Swatches shown with 2 coats of Luminous Lilac and one top coat.
From the macro shot below, you can see the shimmer actually comes from the silvery flecks.
On the ring finger, I topped a coat of Models Own Ibiza Mix to spice it up a bit.
Have you got yourself a bottle of Ibiza Mix yet? I really like it! It's very versatile and looks good with almost every pastel shade I can think of.

ReplyDeleteNice spring pastel, I've never seen this brand anywhere though. Good old Ibiza Mix, I wasn't keen on it at first but the more I see it the more I like it :)
ReplyDeleteBesides their store in central London, I think you can find Pixi polish at asos.com and I've seen some larger Boots stock them, but no nail polish! And Ibiza Mix, I think you should get it, really versatile ;)

What a gorgeous colour! The silvery flecks are really understated but they do give the polish some added interest and dimension. I wish I could get my hands on Ibiza Mix, the glitter is so pretty and varied and looks lovely over the pastel base :)
