Have a good Friday, everyone! I was lagging behind posts because I have been indulging myself in the sunshine during the past couple of days^^ It seems summer has finally arrived here in the great British soil and like everyone else, I have been basking in the sun...
Back to nail polish, today I want to share with you my swatches on the Sprinkles Collection from Nails Inc. This collection comes with four candy like glitters. Each shade have two to three different colored glitters suspended in a milky jelly-like base which gave a semi-matte look to the glitters. The glitters is quite dense and opaqueness can be achieved in two easy coats.
(For the following swatches, I have two coats of the glitter polish on and one very generous coat of Seche Vite. The first two pics of each shade were taken outdoor with sunshine, while the remaining three were taken indoor with diffused light.)

Sugar Lane House. I thought of sesame and Oreos when I first saw this. It has black and silver glitters suspended in a beige base. It's an interesting looking polish but I'm still on the fence about it, maybe because of the faded-mocha-like base.
Sweets Way. With light blue, light pink and silver glitters in a milky white jelly base. Sweets Way reminds me of Deborah Lippmann's Glitter in the Air, though its glitters is much smaller but a lot denser. I like this one a lot, it looks much better in real life.
Topping Lane. It has medium blue, fuchsia and silver glitters in a candy pink jelly base. I especially like how the blue glitters poked through the pink jelly base, which made them look purple to a certain extent. It's such a sweet looking polish!
Pudding Lane. Medium blue and gold glitters in an aqua blue jelly base. This one is amazingly beautiful! I absolutely adore the navy and gold glitters combo. I like the way the aqua jelly base has toned down the sparkles of the gold glitters, making it looks muted.
All four shades are easy to apply, though you need to poke the glitters around a bit when it's still wet. The second coat will even everything out nicely. Just like any other glitter polish, it's a topcoat eater, but it's only natural considering the amount of glitters in it. At least two topcoats are needed to give that glassy looking finish. My personal fave are ....... Topping Lane and Pudding Lane!
I purchased the Sprinkles Collection from www.nailsinc.com. The retail price is £11.
So till next time!

These look great, hope Nails Inc have this on QVC

ReplyDeleteI neeeeed all of these!!
ReplyDeleteEven though I'm a huge glitter fan I only really like the blue one. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow these are pretty unique for a non-indie brand, I wonder if they started taking inspiration from indies. The last one looks like Floam!

ReplyDeleteWow!!! I want all the colours :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, I love all of them! Those are the kind of glitter (soft, in a milky base) that I love the most. It´s so great that a big company starts to make nail polishes that looks more experimental as the indies ones.
ReplyDeleteuh oh I'm definitely going to have to get these now ! your macro shots are gorgeous
ReplyDeleteI totally love these! Gorgeous swatches! My local Sephora started carrying Nails Inc. not too long ago so hopefully these will pop up there!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone wasn't interested or didn't want these before reading your post they will now! Nails Inc have triumphed here, great polishes & swatches, QVC is on Sun, Mon, & Wed, wonder if they'll make an appearance? Lucky you, would love to have these x
ReplyDeleteWow these are so cute, love them!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI find them absolutely gorgeous, the size of the glitter, the color coordination. But £11 is a bit too much.
