The gradient/ombre mani is such a hit lately that I just can't resist and give it a try myself. I bet you'd already seen a number of these gradient manicures, usually in bright or pastel colors, but I've chosen something darker, a forest green gradient. I did it a few days ago and now kind of feeling strange to have chosen these colors. Why I picked them was probably because I thought I have neglected my A-England polishes for quite sometime and they deserved more usage! So here is my ill attempt at a gradient mani...
Polishes used
Base color: Topshop Hunting
Middle layer: A-England Dragon
Tip: A-England St George
We have all seen a lot of glitter gradients, so it's rather refreshing to have this gradent/ombre manicure on the trend. It's real fun and I'll definitely try something bright next time!

Looks gorgeous :]
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Deletei want to try it with red... hehe... how's A-England nail polish quality?
ReplyDeleteTop notch quality, very pigmented and goes on smoothly!
DeleteThe gradient turned out great :) I would have thought you had used more different poilishes, you builded up great with only 3! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I would have used more if my nails were longer ;-)
DeleteWow this is really gorgeous! Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI think that it's a lovely, refreshing change. I'm inspired to try a darker gradient myself! (:
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I'm still to scared to try a gradient.
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous! I want to give it a go myself but I'm not sure if I have the skill or patience :p You've done it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteWow, lovely!! Make me want to do a gradient immediately!
ReplyDeleteI think this looks great! The colors make it look like a sparkly, formal manicure!
ReplyDeleteI have been working on my gradients without much success, what kind of sponge did you use?
Thanks for stopping by! I used a foundation wedge but I found it absorbing maybe too much polish. I knew others use kitchen sponge, which probably wouldn't soak up too much polish. Hope it helps :)
DeleteLooks beautiful and I love the colors! St. George is a big lemming for me. I wish I could do this but I think my nails are too short, and I lack any ounce of artistic ability/coordination in general, lol.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I lack the patience and artistic skill! I think sponging is the easier form of nail art! I suck at stamping, and hopeless in freehand drawing :))
DeleteThis is stunning! I have those A England and I love them together here! So awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow! Okay, this blew my mind a little bit- I LOVE how this looks. Great idea, and fantastic execution! Thank you for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks so awesome, I can't take my eyes off it! I must try something like this asap!
